We at Flat Iron are suckers for a happy ending and when we have them we really like to share.  This one is extra special because it is a story times two.  Barney, or Xman as he was known in his colony, is a absolutely stunning cat who happens to be a lilac Siamese. He is as sweet as he is handsome. He was eager to leave the colony for a home indoors and our friend and colony caretaker, Anja, was happy to oblige him. He came to Flatiron to be neutered, vaccinated and tested and when he was given a clean bill of health he went to the Siamese Metro Rescue. We were sad to see such a sweet cat, who just wants to be cuddled, go but we knew he had a better shot at finding a home with the Siamese rescue. Not only has Barney/Xman found a home but he also found love! While at the rescue he met a sweet young thing rescued from the streets of Camden and they both will now have loving and forever homes.
